Review summary

We loved our trip to the Monet Gardens.  Just a perfect day for us both - surprised me as my husband is not a gardener or an artist - but he found it relaxing and interesting. The lady tour guide was so informative and so good with us all.

We had problems with our hop on hop off bus and boat trip though yourselves,  but you have kindly offered us a refund of the cost.  Hopefully you will take steps to correct this.

If we did Amsterdam again we would opt for the P&O windmill tour.  Still we had fun and gave us a laughable time to talk about.  We thought the Ship was good.  My husband has resisted a cruise holiday until now - having done his first one - he wants to go again.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5

Onboard Activities

We did not really participate - unless you count swimming - and sauna and jacussi and steam room. and the casino. We loved all that

Children's Programs

No children in our party - think those that had children seemed to be happy enough

Service and Staff

They were all very good to us

Cabin / Stateroom

We were happy to have a Balcony. We could watch the ship navigate the locks out of Amsterdam. It was brilliant.

Ship tip

We did not realise until the end of our cruise that we could have also participated in lunch in one of the main restaurants. We always went up top and helped ourselves. We thought we were only allowed to go in the restaurant for breakfast and evening meal. We preferred self service for breakfast.

Ports of call

Southampton (London), England

Amsterdam, Netherlands

if you don't like getting stressed - pick a tour with a tour guide. We just got so lost and wasted so much time.

Le Havre (Paris), France

5 out of 5
Those that stayed at Le Harve found all the shops closed at lunchtime 1/2 day. We adored the Monet Gardens - worth every penny
