Hard to explain after quite a critical review but this is an honest and accurate report. Really enjoyed ourselves despite our complaints but for us we prefer Celebrity cruises

We had a form to complete before embarkation , this was to do with entering Cuba , there was no assistance from Azamara staff and we were given conflicting information from different port staff. In the end it was just pot luck !

Couldn't fault the cleanliness or the comfort but it was a totally obstructed by the lifeboat we couldn't even sea any land. To be fair to Azamara they offered us an alternative but only 4 days before the end. Don't book this go for an inside cabin instead
This was our main gripe , once we had paid for the cruise in full Azamara cut this port out. We complained once on the cruise and received comments such as that the Brits were the only people complaining ! We were given various reasons and felt Azamara were not being honest with us. Apparently they often change itinery, if so my advice is complain before you leave the UK. We were not told we could cancel. Very poor customer service

Did a tour to local village by boat. Watch out for mosquitos
Felt uncomfortable about not buying from locals . Take plenty of dollars for tips !
