Review summary
Service was beyond excellent. The embark/debark process was seamless as were the on & off procedures at the ports-of-call. The food was excellent and varied; the ship was well-maintained and had a very visible, warm, friendly, out-going Captain. This was the quietest cruise we've ever been on - no obnoxious cruise director & staff trying to get folks up to make fools of themselves or loud music blasting. There were no photographers always in our faces trying to take those souvenir pictures for sale, but were available if desired. This West Indies Hideaway cruise was so relaxing and laid-back, but a little too much so for us. Because of the small size, the evening entertainment options were very limited and not always of interest to us. The shore excursion offerings were very sparse compared to our 16 previous cruises on multiple other lines. The staff and crew were most accommodating, and the Caberet Room entertainment was excellent with very talented singers and dancers. They also offered ballroom dance lessons by great Pro's. Bar & Wait service and room stewards were also very good; the gift shop was a little small and limited, and we really liked the price inclusive beverages & gratuities - great idea! We had trouble with the ship's internet but were not in dire need to use it often. Overall, a very good cruise.

Ship tip
This may be a very slow, relaxing cruise as far as activities and entertainment go. Plan shore activities that you would enjoy independent of the shore excursions. There aren't many options offered.
