The food and service were roughly comparable to the sister line, Celebrity.
I expected something special for New Year's Eve but was quite disappointed by the 'White Night' activity on the pool deck. The conditions were so bad that we were unable to get out of port that night. Then I realized the pool was the only area that could accommodate all of the passengers.
I did not consider this to be a good value for the price.
The food was pretty good, but the complimentary wine was free for a reason. Most of it was pretty mediocre.
A piano player on a ship with a sizeable Jewish, New York, Florida population that does not know 'Bei Mir Bistu Shein'. Really?
The 'deluxe' veranda is anything but deluxe. This was our 24th cruise on ocean and river and it was by a wide margin the worst bathroom design I have encountered. Neither I nor my wife are tall people but you had to sit on the toilet at an angle. To say this is uncomfortable and not conducive to purpose is an understatement. The shower was tiny and in poor repair. When I complained about the vinyl wall paper and base separating it took 3 days to get a repair. The two magnet fasteners that kept the closet shut was missing a screw each and the remaining screws were loose. It never did get repaired.
