Review summary

I am a loyal Azamara cruiser but I was disappointed in the Onward. I would not book another cruise on the Onward in the near future. They need to get their act up to standards of other Azamara ships. They just need a little more time to do so. Also, in fairness, this was the first time Azamara sailed to the Caribbean.

Azamara usually excels at customer service but there were quite a few glitches in service, particularly in the buffet. Often took a bit a time to get beverages, especially at breakfast. In fairness, they are the most recent Azamara ship and need a bit more time to get it more together

Cabin was fine except mini fridge was in closet - taking up valuable space and making my clothes warm!

Disembarkation

Disembarkation itself was alright -too many people sent off ship at once. Biggest problem was Azamara arranged bus service to Miami airport. Bus driver did NOT communicate with us as to what airlines were at each of the 2 stops. I suspect he didn’t know. He left us off at the opposite end of the airport. This was a real problem since it was difficult to walk with all our luggage when I have mobility issues.

We were on the Quest in the Caribbean Nov/Dec. 2021 and considering COVID restrictions we thought it was awesome. We're booked for 16 nights on the Onward in February. I hope we're not disappointed.

I did Qwest last year.Was amazing in all areas.Have not seen many great reviews of Onward.Doing it next month.Dont want to be disappointed.
