Review summary

Overall, this was a good cruise. We enjoyed the ports and were able to see lots of Cuba. We were disappointed in the sea days since we don't drink or spend time in the casino. It just didn't seem that there were activities on board. We spent most of the time in the room playing cards. There were no computer classes for Windows and no sewing classes (although they were listed in the bulletin daily - unhosted). Jewelry making class was one day - after I complained.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Food was good. Didn't particularly care for food centered around a particular country each night on buffet.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
I felt this area was very poor. Too many drinking activities and too few craft activities. Most activities either had to do with selling jewelry or spa treatments. Few lectures, computer classes (except for Ipads & Iphones), or craft activities like jewelry making and needlecraft.

Very poor AND very late except for one night when the main show was at 8:15 pm.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was very small but this is because it was an old cruise ship. The stewards did a great job of keeping it clean.

Ship tip

The service is great but don't go if you are looking for activities - other than drinking.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida Did not visit port

This is where we got on the ship and also departed the ship.

This was a very interesting port. We did an excursion and the guide was very knowledgeable and spoke good English.

This port did not have to much to offer. We did an excursion which was too long - 7 hours. There just wasn't much to see in this city. The guide was good but she could have covered things in 4 hours and it would have been better - in my opinion.

This port had much to offer. We did an excursion and it was good. Again, the guide was good and spoke good English.

We did not do an excursion in this port. We walked around on our own and enjoyed the port.

It worked very smoothly.
