Review summary
To travel on the Azamara Journey is like being in Nirvana. The size of the ship, the decor, the food, the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff, the entertainment - just everything. I am 81 years old and this was my 3rd trip on this ship. I would choose no other. I can't wait for my next trip.Ship experiences

Pros: Everything was perfect. Perhaps the smaller size of the ship was the feature I most appreciated.
Cons: There was nothing I disliked.

On my recent cruise on Journey in December 2015 the food was in my opinion poor. Over 13 days not one memorable meal. Complaints to the restaurant managers made no improvement. Low quality meat, cheap small fish portions, Yorkshire puddings best used for cricket or baseball, poor coffee in the Mosaic cafe, poor interpretations of Indian food. I could go on but won't other than to say this was not gourmet food but cafeteria food at best. There won't be a second cruise!
