Review summary

The crew were outstanding - friendly, accommodating, courteous and fun to be around. The food was fabulous and it was great to see the Captain and Cruise Director all around the ship - always speaking with passengers and making sure we were all having a fabulous vacation. I really enjoyed being welcomed "home" after each day's excursion by the Captain and staff, the hot towels waiting and an inviting beverage.

Receptionists were outstanding - always smiling, helping when needed and very lovely ladies.

Our balcony suite was beautiful. The room smelled like a fresh countryside, everything was clean and neat. It was the most comfortable bed I've slept in and very welcome after the long excursions.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was roomy and spotless clean. I loved the balcony and being able to open the doors to take in more of a view. It was fun to sit inside in the evening covered with blankets and enjoying the fresh air, water and scenery. The bed was extremely comfortable and linens were changed daily. The bathroom was spectacular - love the marble and glass, the L'Occitane products were a nice treat. Mini bar was fully stocked. The robes and slippers made it feel like home. It was a nice touch to see the roaring fire on the television on our last night onboard as it was very chilly outside.

Ship tip

The dress is smart casual, don't overpack and rotate your clothes. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a small travel umbrella or rain jacket with hood. Taste everything on the menu - you will be pleasantly surprised!
