Review summary

Bergen (changed from Haugasund) and Flam very good, Olden less so (but weather not great and hence not much to do), Stavenger ok and generally more options.

Food and Dining

Generally good. Windjammer provided a varied food offering, but busy as ever. Main Dining Rooms barely half full, but food and service good. Little disappointed with lunch at Jamie’s (no better than main restaurant). Chops Grill lunch excellent food if service a little slow. Johnny Rockets no where near as good as previous cruises (just have a burger elsewhere). Overall happy with options provided.

We Will Rock You excellent. Comedian and singers in theatre ok. Guitarist in Brass & Bock just ok. Giles, pianist in Schooner Bar, very good. Band in Music Hall good too

Only complaint was slow service in Chops Grill, two tables walked out when we were there because of this. Service elsewhere good

We were on the same cruise!! I welcomed the change to Bergen when we found out. Haugesund didn’t look too great from what I researched. We booked the Loen Skylift in Olden thru Olden Adventures. That was amazing and I highly recommend to book with them and not the cruise line. We were in the first tram up with only about 12 people. Had the mountain to ourselves for awhile.
