Review summary

RC continues to relax traditions and does not enforce rules! Kids run rampant on the ship at all hours of the day and into the early morning hours. Activities are now focused on kids/teens and families. Kids were in the casino and smoking was outrageous in the casino! Been on 32 cruises and this may have been the worst one! RC has lost it's way.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The first night in the MDR was very disappointing. The crew was unorganized and food was served barely warm. In 32 cruises with RC, we never experienced this before!

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Activities on the ship seem to be more geared towards kids and families!

Entertainment

1 out of 5
The same production shows are on Anthem for the past 6-7 years. There was only a couple headliner shows, with an excellent singing group and a terrible comedian.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The crew is always fantastic. They bust their butts and smile even as it seems passengers become more entitled and down right rude.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabins need refreshing and basic maintenance inspections.

Ship tip

Do NOT sail on "Jersey Week"!! There were over 1200 kids/teens on board who many roamed the ship freely and unparented. And RC does little to reign in their behavior.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

This stop could be skipped!

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Best part of the cruise. CoCo Cay Beach Club is well worth the money!
