Review summary

We traveled with our son and daughter in law. He is an educator so the timing of this cruise worked well. We had a fantastic time and will all be aboard again very soon!

As I’ve said many, many times, food is subjective. My family of four on this cruise did not have a bad meal. We ordered and enjoyed every selection!

We take the cruise time for “us” time. We didn’t partake in many activities. There was plenty to do if you chose.

Entertainment

We spent most nights in the Schooner Lounge with our old friend, Perry Grant. A wonderful showman, and entertainer! If you get lucky enough to sail a ship he is performing on, do not miss him…return, return, return!

Our cabin attendant Bruno was hard working and very attentive to our needs. The cabin was very well cared for!

Ship tip

If you sail Anthem and can’t find anything to do in Port Canaveral, I highly recommend Grills seafood restaurant just across the parking lot from the ship. Great lunch, drinks and atmosphere! I usually don’t recommend any eatery (you get fed on the ship) but Grill’s is very special. Thank you to RADIO, for suggesting this establishment! We look forward to our next trip to Port Canaveral!

We attempted to remain on the ship as long as possible because it was cold (we just returned from the Bahamas), but found that there were warming shuttles for our use while we waited for our tour bus to arrive. Port Liberty just keeps getting better and better!
