Review summary

Bad weather. My only shore excursion (SCUBA..the reason I took the cruise to Bermuda) was cancelled due to winds. Ship was “just OK”.

Embarkation

While we were asked to check in by 10:30 am. We were not allowed to board for over an hour after that, nor could we get into our stateroom until 3 hours later.

Food and Dining

Excellent food in main dining rooms. Some wait staff pretty good, others not so much. Almost never got the wine we ordered until AFTER our appetizer was finished. Jamie’s specialty Restaurant (Italian) was outstanding.

Onboard Activities

Rip-Cord was great fun. North Star pretty boring.

Entertainment

The Gift was quite good. We Will Rock You was cancelled due to rough seas.

Ship tip

Don’t have too high expectations. Be prepared for a deluge of trying to sell you all kinds of stuff EVERY DAY for weeks before the cruise. Pretty annoying.

We were on the cruise before you, got off so you could get on. We were off and at Newark airport at 9 checking in. It seemed like they were getting them off quite quickly. We ate lunch at Jaimes and really enjoyed it also and the Lemon cheesecake was out of this world. Also had a great meal at Chops!
