Review summary

Excellent food and service! We greatly enjoyed Anthem! Our room was in a great location in the 8th deck. The interior rooms have a virtual window, which is interesting. The Northstar attraction is neat, just do it on a day you are in a port. I also did the Ripcord skydiving simulation. Very cool! Don’t do it if you have any neck, shoulder, or back issues. It does put a lot of pressure on your face. The Seaplex was neat, I tried roller skating. Sign up for as much as you can beforehand through the Royal Caribbean site. Also, download the Royal IQ app before going. It requires Wi-fi to download. It has a texting and calling feature that you can pay for onboard. The texting worked for us, but we ended up being able to use the regular texting feature in our phones through the ship Wi-fi without paying any extra. The app is great for adding daily activities and seeing the schedule.

How far in advance were you able to book activities like North Star and flow rider?

The app was great except that the times of the shows on the app didn’t quite match the actual start times of the shows! We were almost late because of that.
