Anthem is a great ship and set the bar high for future cruises.

Embarkation was quick and seamless.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Wonderland is definitely something you should try. Chops was just ok. Jamie Oliver's was so good we went twice! Izumi was great! We didn't care for the service at breakfast in the MDR (American Icon Grill).

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I loved the SeaPlex for bumper cars and roller skating. 270 is a great place to sit and relax. We stayed on the ship the 2nd day in Bermuda (docked for 3 days) and had the Solarium all to ourselves.

Service and Staff

Joseph & Oky in the Boleros bar were AMAZING!!!!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Although it is a "mega ship" everything felt very accessible, great layout!

Cabin / Stateroom

Only 2 minor things: First, the shower door. In rough seas it would bang back and forth. Easy fix though, we stopped it with a bunched up towel. Second, the bed was too firm for my liking.

Ship tip

Complete online check-in for a quick boarding process.

There weren't any vendors trying to sell you stuff when you get off the ship. It was great to come and go without getting harassed. We loved the nightlife glass bottom boat tour.

Disembarkation

We carried our own luggage off and were on our way to the airport within 15-20 min after leaving our cabin.
