Review summary
Omg, amazing ship! So many wonderful things about our vacation. A few cons, but way more pros. I’ll start with getting on the ship. Fastest and smoothest I’ve ever experienced. On the ship within 20 minutes. Parked in the parking lot and just walked over to the ship. Amazing! The safety drill on the ship was the longest and boring than other ships. They spent most of the time paging missing passengers while everyone just sat and waited. Took way to long. After that, it was great! We had the drink package, what was there not to like? Tried so many different drinks. The bars only felt over crowded the first day. After that, never had an issue getting a drink. The bionic bar was fun. The kids enjoyed watching the arms make their Shirley temple. Food was fantastic! We also never ate at the main dining room. We were able to eat at all the specialty dining and it was oh so good. I gained 5 happy pounds on this vacation. Haha. The windjammer was ok. Same thing every day but it served its purpose with two young kids. Pizza was good. Had a few slices a day. Lol. The regular coffee was good and would’ve been just fine if we didn’t have the drink package. So we enjoyed the Starbucks instead. The activists were great. The ifly was the best thing ever! A tip for those who are going on the ifly, split up into groups at different times. If everyone goes together, no one will be able to take your picture cause all phones and camera will have to be left downstairs. The North Star seemed cooler In The advertisement. Although it was nice, it will be something that’s easily forgettable. Bumper cars, rock wall climbing, all fun fun fun. Omg, each of the shows were terrible. Just, wtf were they thinking terrible. We walked out of spectrA. We will rock you was just too long to hold my interest. The gift was ok. Maybe cause it was the first show and I was three drinks in? Idk. But wow, the Shows were surprisingly bad We stayed in a junior suite. The lowest class of suites and it was perfect! The large bathtub and two bathrooms were fantastic. No fighting between a 3 and a 5 year old about who gets to take a dump first. The room was very spacious. Lots and lots of storage. Tip for parents with small kids: the entire room is magnetic. We bought heavy duty hook magnets from amazon and hung a think fabric shower curtain to separate the kids sleeping area and ours to give ourselves some privacy! No peeking eyes in the middle of the night during mommy and daddy time. Haha The workers on the ship were all amazing and so hard working. The deserved every single tip and then some! Getting off the ship was just as easy. We chose to walk off with all of our luggage and two young kids and it was easy. When we got to our car,l in the lot, our car battery was dead. They were able to jump our car in 10 minutes and we were on our way. Amazing!! I would absolutely do this ship again in a heart beat. Great time by the entire family.Embarkation
