Embarkation

This was my first cruise and I was so very impressed with the entire experience from start to finish. Due to Hurricane Maria our itinerary changed from Bermuda to Portland, Maine and Halifax, Nova Scotia- both of which was very nice to visit in September. From the time we arrived at Cape Liberty the check in process was super easy and the embarkation was quick and seemed to be very organized considering the number of people boarding at 11:30am that morning. Very happy!!!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The Windjammer has everything you could want. The food was amazing- thoroughly impressed from the first bite. I loved the little coffee shop inside Windjammer for the barista was awesome and made my iced coffees perfectly. The American Icon was perfect- Crab cakes and Lobster was absolutely delicious. Definitely my favorite dinner soot. The Solarium was also very impressive both for dinner and breakfast, not as busy as the other areas was an added bonus when you wanted some quiet time.

Onboard Activities

I lived in the Music Hall. From concerts to karaoke to dance lessons and even bingo there was always something going on. A great atmosphere for a big group, we had 12 in ours, and the drinks Tribute and Mettalicker was yummy. Lots of fun all over the ship but thus was my fav.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We will Rock you was awesome- great music and awesome cast! Spectra's Cabaret was stunning visually with dancing, singing, electronics, aeralists, just an awesome experience.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
I will give it 5 stars though we didn't really have kids in our group but there was lots of activities for kids. Bumper cars, roller skating, basketball. Table tennis. Rock climbing, etc

Service and Staff

Top notch. Sean our storeroom attendant on deck 8 was the best. Everyone on board was very helpful and took care of us. In American Icon Godfrey and Gede are the bomb.com. They made our dining experience wonderful!!!!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I lived this ship, so much so that I have reserved my next cruise already for April 2018 on Mayhem of the Seas again. The ship is immaculate and well cared for. Everything is so clean and always pleasing to the eye.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Fantastic, exceeded my expectations. Far larger than I would have thought and the few was stunning!!!!! Lots of space to stretch out and not feel crowded.

Ship tip

When your board the first couple hours avoid the crowds of folks at Windjammer by going to Cafe 270 at the back of the ship. They have yummy sandwiches and an awesome view. Also just enjoy the ship and the staff these were truly some of the most amazing people I have ever met.
