Review summary

5th cruise with royal Caribbean and was worst I've been on. Will either go back to smaller ships or try a different cruise line. Not as good as they used to be.

I'm a craft beer drinker. The craft beer pub was important to me. They had 12 craft beer on the menu but none were available until 9pm on first day and only 2 were available for the whole cruise. How can you have a craft beer pub with 12 good beer on menu but only have 2 available. Honestly it turned me off to Royal Caribbean when you can't live up to what you have advertised on your menu.

Onboard Activities

Ifly and roller skating were very fun. People saving pool chairs with a towel but never using the chair was a major turn off. I wanted to sit near the main pool so my daughter could swim and I could keep and eye on her but saved chairs that never had a person in them prevented me from relaxing and watching my daughter swim.

Never saw a 4 star rating for a Worst cruise ever... there's other cruise lines they all have there upsides and downfalls... enjoy..

sheila....don't worry. You will love Anthem! Lots to do and see....shows are amazing! The dance hall has great music at night as well as Bolero for dancing! Don't let negative people sway YOUR opinion! My husband and I were skeptical, but never worried. Some people just like to complain no matter what!

Then I will add- this was a family cruise- 3 generations. We all found sufficient activities to keep us busy! The grandkids spent all free time in the SeaPlex- playing basketball, soccer, bumper cars, the Living Room for teens. My son in law had his own time - to go to the casino. We ladies were on the Sun Deck- and enjoyed watching all the pool games. Only disappointment- Michael's Pub was out if all craft beers! We split our dinners between the Dining Room - Grande- and the Windjammer. Birthday celebration was the best of all- in Chops! The kids wanted to go back there again. We often went to the Windjammer for evening desserts. Food was great - so many choices. My kids and grandkids did not dress up for the Grande- and were never made to feel uncomfortable! Love this ship for our family cruise!!

7/6 was our second on the Anthem this year! Obviously we found so much to do, the food was great, and the ports perfect for our family!
