Review summary
Relaxing in the solarium and the dining experience at Chops and Jamies were highlights of our trip. We were pleasantly surprised with our stateroom as well. Less attractive were all of the added expenses for those special meals, wine and alcohol, Johnny Rockets line was long and staff too small to handle 3 o'clock crowd when Windjammer closed. Gone is the personalized service for a cruiser with status. The public address system messages at 4AM were less than appreciated asking passengers to go the customer service desk to settle an account. My husband slipped on the wet floor in the solarium and only a fellow passenger came to his aid. He was cut and bruised but received no sympathy from the staff. Likewise, we booked a shore excursion on a mini bus which was involved in a traffic accident while we were on board delaying us for close to an hour sitting in that bus. The shops though elegant were out of the league of most passengers. More affordable shops might draw more shoppers. BTW, it took FOREVER to get a drink from the Schooner!!! And I mean FOREVER!
