Review summary

Overall, 3/3.5 out of 5. Facilities were excellent and Anthem has many unique things to offer (I-Fly, Northstar, Two70, etc). Was unable to pre-book IFly & Northstar, Was able to get slot on Northstar on Embarkation Day (at I-Fly Check in, Deck 15 aft. (behind the Giraffe) I-Fly was booked up for the whole cruise. Long lines at main pool bar, But Northstar Bar (think Sky Bar), the Inside Main Pool bar and Solarium Pool Bars were busy, but always able to get a drink reasonable fast. Smoking area confined to Deck 5 Aft and Deck 14 Port side between the doors to the inside pool and the pop up bar area (look for signs). Two70 is very unique and awesome. Great for lounging during the day, great entertainment venue at night. Awkward place for Quest, but there is no other reasonable place for it to be held other than Main Theatre. Did not see shows so no review on them.

Food was great, at at Chops twice (Bogo for $30 offer). Easy to change reservations once on board. (just went to Chops and they changed times). Windjammer was.. well the windjammer. Standard Buffet.

Music Hall most frequented venue, great cover band (Rock the Boat) as well as other shows and DJ at night. Finally, Royal IQ app is great, after the 1st day where it kept crashing.

So why the 3/3.5 rating? I just felt there was no energy. Maybe because it was a 5 day cruise (and the last day was bleh because of the weather). I think the ship is great, it's HUGE, you will get your exercise from walking. It wasn't bad at all, and maybe I'll go back for a longer cruise on Anthem, but not a 5 day.

Cabin is an Inside w/Virtual Balcony. The Virtual Balcony is an 80 inch Flat Screen with the balcony superimposed on a live feed. Liked the ability to turn off the TV. Curtains could be a little longer, just felt it was a battle to shut the curtains completely. Firm bed. Cabin attendant was Natalie, and had no issues. TV in room pops out so it can be viewed on angle from bed.
