Excellent cruise but if it's a scenic cruise your looking for this is not the one.

Review summary
We took a 13 day package that included 3 days in Paris, 7 days cruising on the Amadagio and three days in Barcelona. Paris is Paris and there's a lot to see and visit and you'll never see it all but Barcelona was fantastic and enjoyable. A lot of history in these two major cities, let alone the stops on the way to Barcelona.
Ship, crew personnel, attention to detail was top notch. Food was great but not excellent. Meals included different wines every evening and made this part of the dining experience very good. Attention at the Chef's Table Restaurant is something to look forward to - don't miss out. Excursions every day with sometimes 2 or 3 to choose from and at no additional cost.
My negatives, If your looking for a scenic cruise to enjoy while cruising down the river and looking out via your French Balcony - this isn't the cruise for that. The scenery was barely there or not that great. After a while looking at vineyards and open grounds isn't something I will look forward to in the future.
Overall the cruise was good and I would do it again with Ama Waterways but a totally different cruise experience (most likely down the Danube or Rhine or maybe Amsterdam).

Ship tip
Captain and Assistant Captain (husband and wife team) very personable. Enough can't be said about the cruise director, Peter. He earns his dollars and is very attentive to details for each of the couples. With only a max of 150 passengers on board it's very easy to make friends and feel wanted.
