Review summary

This was certainly the busiest cruise I have ever been on. They kept us moving with all kinds of tours and excursions. We had a wonderful time, and it was a great experience.

Embarkation

No problems at all. We were able to upgrade to a nicer cabin and 1/2 original price.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Lots of German food. 1 dining room. Same waiter throughout. Much different than cruising the ocean.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
the only activity onboard we participated in was walking the deck with instructor. Much too busy with included excursions on most days.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
On board musician played every evening. Local talent was brought on at several different cities. Violin players, guitar and singers. They were all excellent.

Children's Programs

no children on board

Service and Staff

All were perfect

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very small "barge" type ship to cruise the rivers in Europe. It was different than what we were used to, but still very good and enjoyable.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
ample size room. inside sitting area with table, outside balcony. Nice bathroom. lots of storage.

Weissenkirchen, Austria

probably my favorite. We toured Greinburg Castle and had a private show with local Austrian traditional folk dancers.

Linz, Austria

5 out of 5
Took an excursion to Salzburg and did a walking tour there.

Passau, Germany

5 out of 5
We took a biking tour to Wernstein Austria and back to Passau. Along the River Inn. It was very enjoyable. Great guide who was probably over 70 and more fit than most of us!

Vilshofen, Germany

5 out of 5
this was our disembarkation port. There was an Octoberfest in May for our boat. Lots of fun. Walked around town and up to an Abbey.
