Review summary

The check-in process went smoothly and had no issues. I took our son and two friends and they had a great time. Traveling as a single adult was boring and kept comparing to previous experiences. For me, it just didn't meet expectations.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Not as much to do and experience as other RCL ships - for an adult, there were not that many activities but for teenage boys, they had a great time. The only thing lacking was water slides on the boat.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Ice skating was the best - Mama Mia was Mama so/so - vocals and sound were not as polished as it should have been.

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
First time traveling in an inside cabin and will never do it again. The TV channels were terrible, always froze / cut-out, and pay-per-view was expensive and lasted only 24 hours. RCL nickel and dime you so it is a bit rich to charge for movies when there was not much on.

Ship tip

If you are used to larger ships like Symphony of the Seas, you will find Allure slightly boring.

Agree with Shee318, we sailed on the Allure back in 2016~~ 50th bday cruise with spouse and 3 other couples- we ALL were NON stop entertained! yes, RCL is not cheap, but plan in advance and know your upfront add-on expenses and Enjoy!!!!

I don't know about this review. There's no way to be bored on the Allure. We went in 2019 and one of our favorites cruises. The food was absolutely delicious and thetexwas so much to do and see on the ship. Never bored. Would definitely go again.
