Review summary

We have been on many Royal cruises, and we now look at the next thing that has been taken away. I hope that somebody in the decision position takes a close look at what is happening. We are Diamond Plus, and it is less important on every cruise.

We are not excited with the new menu. And the dining room shows that we are not the only ones not excited. Tables at late seating are half full. With that being said we asked for a large table and received a table for two. The head waiter then put us at an eight top. We were the only two at this table?????

Their new President was the CFO. Just as he’s pushed for egregious fares on the Icon, he will eventually push to gut the loyalty and casino programs. Then everyone will have status that’s worth nothing, like Diamond on MSC. Give it a few more years and Royal will be crying about how building all those giant ships that created overcapacity and abusing the people with status made them no longer “loyal to Royal”, so fares are being mercilessly pushed down and **gasp** how could anyone have foreseen such a thing? Oh no!

Agree about the loyalty program. We were on a cruise recently, and most of the passengers were Diamond or higher. It was crazy.
