Review summary

Our second time on this beautiful ship. Loved every minute. So much to do. Even with a close to capacity cruise we always found a place to sit on the pool deck and in the restaurants. It never felt crowded. Food and service was good. Quality seemed to be better in the past. Mama Mia, Ice show, and Aqua Theater show were all terrific! The remaining shows in the theater were not very good. Would not hesitate to cruise on Allure again.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Embarkation was a bit of a sh*tshow. Arrived at our appointment time only to be met by mass confusion. Several unruly lines had formed with no crew members telling people where to wait. The various posted signs didn't help. So after 45 minutes on the outside line, we made it into the terminal. Once insude the terminal everything was quick and efficient. Total of about 55 minutes from arriving to onbiard the ship. So not too bad at all. The outside lines could have been handled alot better

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The usual food choices as in the past. Overall the food was good and the menu is similar to previous RCL cruises. The chicken, fish and meat quality seems a little lower than in the past. I'm not blaming Royal for this. I think it's just the supply issues we have these days.

Onboard Activities

Always lots of stuff to do all day long on Oasis class ships.

Cabin / Stateroom

Everything was clean and worked properly. Furniture and bathroom fixtures while clean shiw lots if wear. All thus will probably br addressed during the dry dock refurbishment.

Ship tip

Lots of breakfast of various venues to eat breakfast. Johnny Rockets is included for breakfast at no additional charge. We weren't impressed. Windjammer and the Solarium Bistro was better.
