Review summary
We went on this cruise as it was a family vacation that was chosen by another family member. In retrospect, I would have never allowed her to choose this cruise. We have been on about 7 cruises and never had the issues, horrible service, and lack of amenities as we have had on this vacation. We were not able to obtain food after 9:30 pm on this cruise besides pizza or small sandwiches. There is nothing healthy to eat and no buffet available after this time. As far as the food that was available, the quality was absolutely awful. The food was cold on many occasions, and not sanitary. Standing in the buffet line, a man in front of us dropped his spaghetti on the counter. He picks it up with his hands and throws it back into the buffet bowl with the service manager standing there observing the situation. The manager never addresses him for this behavior, nor does he remove the bowl, but just walks away. There is common sense and courtesy for the health of others. Out of the 9 of us that went, with 5 different cabins, 5 of us got sick with different issues. These were not the only issues that had occurred on this cruise ship. My father ordered a drink. It came in a completely disgusting dirty glass and was handed to him like this. We took a picture of this glass because it was so disgraceful. The orange juice served was half water. The food was absolutely awful, cold and not sanitary. We were not able to obtain tickets to any of the shows but had to wait in hour lines to try and obtain seats. The internet that all of us had paid for prior to cruising did not work most of the time. When I specifically ask to speak with Adrienne, the hotel director, they send me four or five other people. I told them that I specifically asked for him, yet never even received a call from him about my concerns. My family spent $25,000.00 to cruise with Royal because I had gone on several cruises and were happy prior to going on this one. After this cruise, my family and I will no longer be cruising with royal Caribbean as when there are concerns, nobody cares to address them. It is very sad considering I have cruised with Royal for the last 20 years. I have so many other issues that were not addressed. Debbie BeatyEmbarkation
