Review summary

Con : I wish they would have a more reasonable drink package for older adults that have common sense to drink sensibly. A drink package like 12 vouchers for $85 that can be used anytime during your cruise and shared with spouse, or significant other. On a 7 day cruise that would be 6 each evening cocktails

Service and Staff

Service was exceptional, Crew answered every question and many time they went out of their way to make sure you found what you were looking for. The Windjammer Marketplace manager always came by to make sure we had what we needed. Many crew members remembered our names just meeting us once

Just don't get the drink package pay as you go we don't drink much and that's what we do for big drinkers the package is the way to go

I have seen RCCL packages where you get something like 10 drinks for $80 but they are only offered on the last few days of a cruise. One way to lower the cost of drink packages is to purchase in advance during the pre-cruise sales where you can get something like a 25% discount. I seriously don't think the drink packages sold on board are going to cost much less because drinks bought either way is such a source of revenue for the ships.

Agree!! I just can't spend $400 per person on drinks. We will enjoy as we go and keep it in a reasonable amount.

I think Dragon5583 means one cocktail per adult for 6 nights totaling 12 drinks.

6 cocktails per night per person is sensible drinking?? Just kidding. I know what you meant. Interesting ideas about different levels of drinking. I can see the ships staying the course - drink a lot, or pay for each drink.
