Review summary
The Allure of the Seas is a ship like no other, it has some features that are great, others not so. To begin with the venues are too small for the number of passengers (5200) approximately, we were crowded in bars where there was entertainment, people were sitting on the floors and standing in order to see the shows. The Comedy club in particular is way too small, they ended up having the show the last night in the theater as too many people could not get in to see it previously. The Amber theater where the main headliners were was nice and large, you do have to make reservations and it was frustrating to not know ahead of time who was playing when. They asked you to pick a time for the Headliner but they had more than one on different days. The bars were also small and should be larger for such a big ship. The Windjammer Restaurant was a joke for breakfast, as people could not find seats to sit, and things were very spread out. People were complaining, and a lot did like we did and went up to the Wipe Out Cafe or to the Park Cafe and Johnny Rockets The ship did not have the service we've seen on other ships, the largeness makes it impossible to have that personal service. The shows were excellent, our room steward was fine as was some of our waiters and bus people in My Time Dining. MTD had a line up each night, even though we had reservations, it did not seem well organized, as you'd give your room number to the 1st person, he'd pass you off to another, then the third person. In conclusion the ship is so large they cannot manage customer service, and they seemed unorganized. We loved the captain, Johnny he was terrific, the best we've had.
The pools and sporting areas are very nice and well kept, the Zip line kept busy as did the flow rider. The ship itself is beautiful with it's shops, Boardwalk and Park Place. The food was improved over our last cruise and we had no complaints. Expect a lot of walking on this ship as it is large.
The Skymiles person was very helpful and we appreicate getting the miles for our trip.

Ship tip
Wipe Out Cafe has omelets made to order and some breakfast items not offered elsewhere. It's also a nice location to sit and enjoy breakfast and not as crowded.
