Review summary

What started out to be an exciting family vacation quickly turned out to be a total let down. The ship was overcrowded packed to the gills with guests. Everywhere you turned you were waiting in a line even worse was waiting for an elevator, we took the stairs more times than we wanted especially with a 73 year old in our party. The spa staff checked us in but then forgot about us. We waited for our service well over 45 minutes until they finally realized they checked us in. The breakfast buffet was awful there was barely any healthy options. Pools and hot tubs were overcrowded. Entertainment was great in Belaros but it was standing in the lobby room only. We didn’t see any staff wiping down the arcade games after thousand of kids had there fingers all over them. Overall the ship experience was a let down and we unfortunately brought home a souvenir of Covid!

Main dining room waiters were excellent

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Layout was good although certain areas could be larger to accommodate the amount of guest it attracts. Ship seemed maintained but cleanliness is a question about half the total guest cruising came down with Covid.

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
Too small didn’t seem thoroughly clean and walls are paper thin

Ship tip

Don’t do it

Sounds like a bit of an exaggeration from a first time cruiser. Maybe a little research next time will prevent your mistake.

I don't understand overcrowded comment. The ship was at full capacity, I doubt people were sleeping in hallways. Before lockdown most ships sailed at full capacity.

Cruising may not be for you. Your ship is one of the smaller at 3100 guests. So if you think this is crowded, beware. Also it’s not the fault of the Cruise Ship that you got Covid. Someone including you could have brought it on board after your pre cruise testing. You could have worn a mask in Crowded areas to minimize or eliminate the exposure risk.

Thanks for the review. Never cruise when schools are out if you want less crowds. Covid is spreading everywhere now, including cruise ships.
