Review summary

Overall this is a nice relaxing cruise, the ship never felt crowded and we were told it was at 80% capacity. The usual lines at Windjammer Marketplace actually moved quickly, Royal is obviously doing a lot to keep people healthy with abundant stations for sanitizing and washing hands. Crew was always cleaning.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Cape Liberty was fast easy and clean.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was great, main dining has many options, we ate at Izumi and Johnny Rockets as well and they were 5 star.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Enjoyed the decks and shops, all clean and safe.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All of the staff were professional, friendly and courteous.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was clean and neat and crew was always seen keeping things clean and disinfected.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Typical Ocean View Balcony, location was excellent right near the stairwell and elevator but not noisy. Easy access to the main deck or to the elevator for the promenade for coffee and snacks.

Ship tip

Bar Harbor was a great stop, Halifax did not have much at all to do on a Sunday unless you took a tour.

Ports of call

Bar Harbor, Maine

5 out of 5
No Excursion, browsed the shops and saw some of the town, ate a great lunch seaside at a Lobster Joint.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

3 out of 5
No Excursion, it was Sunday, the weather was beautiful, long walk along the waterfront, not much was open due to it being Sunday.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Fast and easy, probably the smoothest in 4 cruises.
