Review summary

Overall, it was pretty nice. I feel the loyalty rep Dimitri did a great job as well as Rafael, the Diamond concierge and Derrick the bartender. I very much enjoyed going up to the Viking Lounge for happy hour.

This embarkation was different from any other I've done. They didn't have the seapasses at the check in counter and, there weren't any rows for different levels of Crown & Anchor membership.

I was very pleased with this venue. Every day, they offered a very large selection of choices as well as having theme nights and the standbys - hamburgers and hotdogs. My only complaint is a Freestyle machine that was apparently broken the entire cruise.

I felt the service and staff were excellent. I did feel at times, the folks in Excursions weren't the most competent.

My cabin was small but, I expected that for an inner cabin. My cabin steward did a fantastic job of keeping it clean and neat.

Check in big time threw me as it was very different from what I was used to. First time where my seapass was waiting for me at my cabin. Did the walking tour which was excellent. Also did the microbrewery tour which wasn't so good.

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

Barring the initial cluster getting off the ship, I enjoyed this port call. I did 2 tours here (Anne of Green Gables and walking) and enjoyed both. Later, I explored a little of Charlottetown on my own.
