Review summary

I am a travel agent & I took a group of people on the ship along with an entertainer. Everyone loved the staff, the cruise, the ship, etc. The Adventure of the Seas is a big ship but not a Mega Ship. Very nice & I will sail on the Adventure again.

Embarkation

Very easy & everyone was very helpful

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate at Chops two nights & the food & service was amazing. Best steak! Our wait staff in the main dining room was very professional & the food was great.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Piano Bar with Keith every night. Standing room only. Love the Solarium; quiet, relaxing, very enjoyable.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Didn't see all the shows - was out & about having fun.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Emma was our cabin person & she was the best I ever had. Would do anything for you. We are not demanding & ask for a lot. We did ask for a bucket of ice in the morning & one in the evening & it was always there for us.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was very clean at all times.

Cabin / Stateroom

Jr. Suites are the way to go. Regular shower, larger rooms with a sitting area, larger balcony & so many more extra treats.

Ship tip

Book your excursions prior to getting on the ship. Only because they sell out very quickly.

Ports of call

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

Went to the beach which was very clean. Highly recommend this excursion

Basseterre, St. Kitts

Took the 4x4 safari which was really good. It did come with a stop at a "beach" but this was useless. Very small & no where to sit. Apparently the beach the tour operator was taking people too was very nice, but the owner wanted more money from the drivers to bring visitors to his beach. Hmmmmm some people get greedy.

Disembarkation

Royal Caribbean had their act together. The problem was there was no enough Custom Agents for a ship this size. This was the longest we have ever had to wait to get off the ship. Our time was for 8 am & we never got out of the terminal until 10 am.

I had the same issue with Customs Agents when I went on The Summit last year out of Bayonne, NJ. I'm sailing out of Bayonne again this year, hopefully the wait won't be so long.

I've had similar issues on disembarkement the past 2 years out of Port Everglades. Not enough customs agents. Thank you for a great review.

I agree about the customs agents, we were to be 1st off the ship, and missed our Everglades excursion waiting on 3 agents to process all the passengers
