Good for novice travellers

Sail Date: January 15, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

Not a bad way to travel for the novice. Little flexibility and interaction with locals is a big drawback however. I would advise travellers to be prepared for the opening day queuing which was brutal and took hours. If you're looking for a no brainer, low-risk "travel" experience, cruising is for you!!

Pros: Extremely easy ... no brainer, spoon-fed travel. Not very adventurous.

Cons: Restrictive time at destinations and lack of interaction with genuine locals

Recommends Adventure of the Seas? Yes!

Food was excellent. Seating times were either early or late and not very flexible for families.
