i am so happy about my cruise and would recommend anyone to go. service was professional and all staff knows your name. the ship was clean and i loved my room with balcony. there were a lot of activities and it was always easy to get a chair at the outdoor pool (hard to get chairs in the solarium). great food. the ports were all really fun. definitely get a pocket guide to find out what the different ports have to offer and where to go and what to do when you get there. my other cruise mates were so mature and fun and we made lots of new friends.

Staff fantastic Food fantastic as well Disappointed in the ship Hope the refurbishment does alot od improvements as there is alot WE think to bring it up to standard with other ships we have cruised on

Enjoyed the cruise very much. Ports were interesting and sea days relaxing.

Lots of good lectures. Unfortunately, there weren't enough seats in showroom. Had to get there 1/2 early to get a seat. The ship really needs a maintenance overhaul. They also cut back on staff and amenities.

First visit to Japan and Alaska - brilliant. The only downside was losing an hour almost every night and gaining a day did really help!

The ship was very nice after its dry dock upgrade. Food in dining room was average, Little variety. The specialty restaurants were Tuscan Grill steaks the best. The lecture series was very entertaining. Overall a good experience.

Would definitely cruise on Ovation again, lovely ship and a wonderful crew.

Excellent cruise. A little too many sea days for my liking as a first time cruiser

This was our first cruise, simply loved it all of it. Staff were great and from all over the world. We enjoyed talking to the crew to learn a bit about their part of the world. The ship tour was well worth the time

Great cruise. Could have done with a few more production shows. Craft lessons were brilliant.

So the Sydney/New Zealand Cruise was overall an A.

We really loved this cruise. Had a few laughs because of the lack of lettuce, lemons, cottage cheese.....

HAL lost the opportunity to give us that "WOW! factor even before we boarded the ship and despite every attempt by the onboard staff to appeze our disappointment the "Bubble had already burst". Being an ex maritime officer with another cruise line for over 5 years and working in a 5 star hotel for over 15 years, I know what guests expect, and whilst your star rating is showing a 3.5 rating, my own personal rating would be in the region of 2.3

Excellent staff, awesome entertainment, you can either choose to relax or do all the onboard activities, great sauna and exercise programs, drinks exi but generous. Too much loading on everything. All in all great cruise.

Smokers near the pool was disappointing. Crowd control was bad. Everyone got coughs. Food is average. Still made the best of it and enjoyed it. Was sad it ended.

Enjoyed the cruise but timing of events clashed often, I know you can't please everyone and then found sometimes there was nothing we wanted to do. The biggest issue was trivia in the Schooner bar, much too small for the number of people who like to participate. Trivia made so enjoyable by Marvin, Joseph and Lisa.

Would do this again in a heartbeat. Staff attention and experience was above expectations particularly in the Windjammer and Sapphire restaurant, also cabin steward attention made our trip most enjoyable.

We like the ship . After the refit next year we come back .
