Amazing New Zealand by Prescottjack

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Jewel / Destination: South Pacific - Australia

This cruise was a "bucket list" adventure. It did not disappoint. New Zealand was so much more than I had hoped for when I was planning this trip. Every port had something of interest that was a bit different from the others. The ship itself is a wonder. All I can say is that I would do it all again in a heartbeat and not regret the repeat.

Wonderful Australia & New Zealand Trip by williamslinda

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Noordam / Destination: South Pacific - Australia

This was probably the best vacation ever. The ship and crew were wonderful. The ship review should have gotten a 5.0, but they added in the port excursions as well.

Pretty beaches, cruiseship could have been better by rkravitz1130

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Sun Princess / Destination: South Pacific

The cruise was nice, it wasn't exactly what I was expecting. I thought it would be a nicer room and bigger balcony. The entertainment we went to was good, but there weren't many options. The food was awful, it was all food I don't like, and not enough variety. The excursions were OK, but again, not enough variety. It was all waterfall hikes or beaches, which, get boring after a while, and the waterfall hikes are challenging because it's the rainy season. It was nice to see Fiji, but, it wasn't exactly what I was expecting.

The best cruise I've done yet... by gybright

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Ovation of the Seas / Destination: South Pacific - Australia

This cruise was exactly what I'd hoped for - In spite of not having any luggage for the first 10 days, I had tons of fun. The ports are beautiful, the scenery is beautiful, and the crew is fantastic.

Nice Cruise in Beautiful Location by Gizfriend

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Paul Gauguin / Destination: South Pacific - Tahiti

The Paul Gauguin seven night cruise was a wonderful way to see the Society Islands. A large cruise ship would be unable to dock/tender at these small ports, and the large number of passengers would overwhelm the islands. The service and staff were outstanding. The food was very good, not excellent. The entertainment was low key and okay not great. The cabin was spacious, and had a lot of storage space.

Amazing Society Island Cruise by bargmannj

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Paul Gauguin / Destination: South Pacific - Tahiti

The cruise was wonderful. It was personalized by each crew member. The shows were good - the crew talent show was the best! The barbeque on Taha'a was nice and relaxing. We enjoyed the food and beverages - and the variety of wines served with dinner. Overall, of all the cruise lines we've traveled with, this is the best!

Good cruise but too many sea days, Hit or miss excursions by kromley1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Majestic Princess / Destination: South Pacific - Australia

The schedule itinerary of the cruise resulted in five sea days. A better routing could have eliminated 1-2 of them. Princess needs to audit the excursions they are offering and make sure the product description on their website is accurate and complete.

Awesome cruise out of a great city by tlspilot

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Ovation of the Seas / Destination: South Pacific - Australia

The Ovation is a wonderfully big ship and I was glad to have that stability in the rough Southern Pacific seas. The ride was comfortable and as smooth as could be expected. The food is ever-present and tasty but I also think the quality of the dinner in the main dining rooms has fallen short of some my previous cruises. Still, I’m sure preparing for 5100 guests is a daunting task so I am willing to give them a break. In Tasmania I booked a lengthy excursion to Mount Field National Park and the Bonorang Wildlife Sanctuary through AA.vacations and couldn’t have been more pleased. A young man named Luke was very accommodating and offered excellent commentary throughout. Our embarkation back in Sydney was a bit unorganized and chaotic but we finally left the ship and set out to enjoy the city. We stayed 5 more days in Sydney and loved every minute.

very good by katia120

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Radiance of the Seas / Destination: South Pacific - Australia

It was a very good cruise. The extra day at sea after Tauranga is absolutely NOT NECESSARY. Being in New Zealand for 10 days it would have been nice to invite a local Maori show on board.

Great experience by mmfair

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Solstice / Destination: South Pacific - Australia

The staff was wonderful, our cabin person, WayIn, was super helpful Our table 440 had an amazing wait staff However I felt that everything was designed to get more money, the charge for the non alcoholic drink card should be per couple, it was truly not worth it. There were very little things to participate in unless you were a drinker. Only 2games of bingo and that too was overpriced. I think when we spend that much money for a cruise then we should not be nickeled and dimed the whole trip. I can say that this is the best way to see New Zealand

Splendid scenery, mediocre weather by jcdolphin

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Celebrity Solstice / Destination: South Pacific - Australia

Unlike Royal Caribbean that has the adult only and super fun Quest game , this ship doesn’t do that. The 3 tenors show, Forza, was great along with the Cirque like acrobat show but most of the other shows were lackluster. The lobster and most lamb dishes in the dining room were delicious but many other food items weren’t that good. Pizza in the buffet was terrible. Apple pie in dining room was horrible as well as the pitiful cannoli desert.
