Hawaii Cruise Reviews

My wife and I spent 14 days cruising from San Diego to Hawaii and back. Everything was great and we really felt special on the ship. We were constantly greeted by name by a variety of the staff onboard the ship. Food was outstanding, maybe too good as I gained weight on the cruise. Everyone was so nice to us.

The ship was in tip top shape. The service by everyone was amazing. To a person, the crew went out of their way to attend to our every need. The ship is beautiful and in excellent shape. The food was delicious. We loved our balcony cabin. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was well appointed. The excursions were excellent and well organized. We couldn't have asked for a better trip. Wouldn't change a thing! Thank you NCL and AA!

When I sail with Princess I always feel at home. I know I will have excellent food, activities I enjoy and enrich my experience and staff who are friendly and willing to make my vacation an enjoyable one. This ship was clean, well outfitted and met all my standards.

Mu husband and I had a difficult year in 2012, with the loss of both of his parents. We decided that at Christmas we wanted to do something different and exciting to start off the new year in a positive direction. We had wanted to do the Hawaii cruise for several years and this seemed the perfect time. We had a marvelous time! The cruise was wonderful. Our room was comfortable, the food was great ( we especially enjoyed the freestyle cruising dining options), and the shore excursions were magical. There are a lot of people on the ship from many nations ( especially Asian) but that only added to the exotic nature of the trip. We would highly recommend this trip.

Was just ok. Been on better cruises.

The cruise was enjoyable but there were many down side. There is no point in reducing the price of the cruise and then increasing the price on board. For example a class of white wine with tip was 9 bucks.the tours were over priced. While the food was okay there is a gradual deterioration in the quality.

it took us more than 5.5 hours to be on the ship lines from 2:00Pm till 7:30PM

YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED, WHETHER IT IS YOUR FIRST TIME TO HAWAII OR YOU HAVE BEEN THERE A LOT THIS CRUISE WAS THE PERFECT BLEND OF CRUISELINE EXPERIENCE WITH STAYING AT A RESORT. ALSO THE CRUISE STAFF WAS VERY ATTENTIVE

Our stateroom, with balcony was excellent. The service was exceptional. Wanted to turn around and make the trip again. Plenty of activities onboard to please any age or interest. This is my 4th cruise with Holland and the 2nd on the Oostersdam. Highly recommend this cruise line.

The entire crew was friendly and did everything in their power to make this cruise enjoyable. The fodd was excellent in all the dining areas with almost too generaous portions. A trip worth taking!

Something for everyone. Wide variety of foods. Loved the simplicity of one card for everything

Oosterdam is really nice. It shows a little bit of wear, but not much. the use the wrong types of paint on some of the surfaces and keep not using Spar Farnish/ like 5-6 coats on outside wood, but other than that they kick but. we really needed the rest and they allowed us to get it. breakfast every morning in bed/superior cabin attendants (abdul and atman) David in the dining room. hell for islands and then 5 dfays o the sea home. great place. even enjoyed the bus tours

Great ship, activities, itinerary and crew. Had a blast. Minus getting on and off the ship at start and end it was a wonderful experience all around. Highly recommended.

The ship is beautiful and well run. The staff is excellent and the cruise director very attentive to detail, keeping activities going strong. The constant push on shopping and sales is tiresome for repeat cruisers.

Well built, many activities

The Carnival Spirit was an outstanding ship with an outstanding staff! The food was excellent whether in the dining room, the buffet, or the steakhouse. The Cruise director and assistant were outstanding! The variety shows rivaled Vegas and the comedy club featured several great comedians. Had a great time!

I've cruised 6x with 3 different carriers, and up until this ship, have been so thrilled with cruising. But I have learned: you cannot judge a carrier when things go right; instead judge the ship by how problems are handled. Our balcony stateroom was under the Key West Bar (only served lunches) and the noise from the kitchen ALL NIGHT EVERY NIGHT was unbelieveable. Seven nights of sleep deprivation does not make for a happy vacation. We complained all night, every time the banging started up. We begged them for "quiet time" from 11-6 am every night when the noise started, but they just did not seem to care.
