Review summary

I've cruised 6x with 3 different carriers, and up until this ship, have been so thrilled with cruising. But I have learned: you cannot judge a carrier when things go right; instead judge the ship by how problems are handled. Our balcony stateroom was under the Key West Bar (only served lunches) and the noise from the kitchen ALL NIGHT EVERY NIGHT was unbelieveable. Seven nights of sleep deprivation does not make for a happy vacation. We complained all night, every time the banging started up. We begged them for "quiet time" from 11-6 am every night when the noise started, but they just did not seem to care.

The Norwegian ship, "Pride of America" has the cleanest kitchen on the face of the earth. Trust me, we were kept up all night listening to them polish the floors, wash pots, stack pots, run water, etc, etc.

Avoid any rooms under or near a kitchen, unless you wear hearing aids.
