There were a lot of highs and unfortunately a lot of lows with this cruise. Looking back we really like the ports that we visited and overall the ship was clean and the onboard staff that we interacted with were great. We enjoyed all the lounge acts and give a particular shout out to Pablo in Henry's Pub! He was an amazing guitarist and had a quiet humor that always made us smile. The down sides were that they changed our itinerary and we didn't get to go to Casablanca as planned, the quality of some of shows were below what we expected from NCL and the food was pretty much below grade. Other than the meals we had at the steak house, if this was a $12 a plate restaurant we would not go back.

MSC can do better , work on better custom service

Pizza and room service should be free like every other cruise line.

Enjoyed all the ports, but would have liked a chance to tour Venice (embarkation city). Croatia was faascinating

Ship was everything I had hoped for and more. Service & staff were amazing. Ports of call, transportation, tours & tour guides were great!

yes it was wet. it was November but it was not cold and you can still enjoy the sights and the ship was great.

Great time with upbeat animation crew! Beautiful ports of call. The shows were awesome!

Our servers were excellent. From Jerome the butler to Ronna our room assistant to our entire wait staff. From the bars to restaurant, they were great. The excursions were good but I would not consider a bargain, fairly expensive. We hired a private driver for the last port who not only drove us to Pisa roundtrip but took us on an extra 2 hr private sceneic tour to Cinque Terre, stopping for pictures and a roadside snack. It was less than a similiar Costa Excursion and exceeded our expectations . Overall the cruise was fun however it is doubtful I will venture again with Costa. $3000 for a balcony that we could hardly use due to the fellow guest who smoked on their balconies. And a negative experience where the customer service desk quoted us incorrect information about location and time available to pick up passports upon disembarking which caused avoidable stress.

Overall, I would rate this cruise 8+. I would rate this higher if the sit-down and specialty restaurant was better. Went to the steak house for steak, but other than the sliders the rest was bad (overcook). The new ship, activity and the show was almost perfect!!!

We chose Viking to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary because of the ports of call, the emphasis on culture and experience and the excellent ratings. In short, we were not one bit disappointed - everything lived up to or exceeded our expectations. The next day after arriving home, we pulled out our Viking brochure and began to dream about our next adventure. Very highly recommend!

This is the first ocean cruise for us with Viking. We have been on Viking river cruise twice. The ocean cruise is equally impressive. Large cabin, excellent food, and service. We’ll consider other Viking route in the future.

Oceania is an excellent cruise line with outstanding food and service. Ship is beautiful and staterooms are excellent. Penthouse Suite is remarkable. Entertainment is poor. Wine tastings and culinary classes are a very good and excellent. Shore excursions are pricey. No children on board. Older passengers. Casino is great and usually empty.

This was a first experience on a cruise holiday for my brother and I. We both had enjoyed sailing on Norwegian Spirit. The staff were friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable and sailing was smooth. However the ship’s announcements could not be heard while we were in our room.

Very good itinerary and ports were interesting and varied. Weather in November was unpredictable, but lack of crowds in most major tourist areas more than made up for the spotty rain or scattered showers we encountered. Our guide in Pompeii said we visited on the least crowded day he had ever seen! Same for San Marino (excursion from port of Ravenna). Would highly recommend travelling in off season!

One of the best cruises we ever did, the staff are very friendly and always try and succeed to fulfill your requests. Specially I would like to mention Mr Rodel Solis our waiter in the Windows dining room, remarkable level of service and always with a real smile.

This was our third cruise on NCL and they had a lot of ground to make up after the first one so I'd consider us good to go now. The staff in almost all cases were top shelf and the special dining, open dining/ Free style set up works very well - on the smaller ships (2,500 passengers) Not so much on the super size ships.

Overall and EXCELLENT Cruise! Excursions were very interesting & historic!! Would we take it again? .... Absolutely YES!!!

Good experience on board a ship that is new and modern with all the electronics throughout the ship. Great to meet people from different parts of the world in one place. We were expecting to meet and greet the captain at our formal dinner and instead the meeting of the captain was an informal one at the center, main gathering with the captain and some of the first officers on stage. I would recommend a cruise on this ship for one trip. Compared to previous ships, it seems to me that people are packed into smaller cabins and sales appears to be the name of the game once you are on board. I would also recommend to research your ports before you take this trip and not rely on the MSC arranged port transportation as we found city buses that would take you to the main plaza was less than half the price of the MSC arranged transportation.

Our suite was lovely. Service was excellent. My husband loves Italian food, I love Italian music. I enjoy the European style, they change silverware between each course. Going suite class there are no hidden expenses. We thought is was a great value.
