Azamara sells their itineraries and time in port, but we didn't see anything special along these lines on this itinerary. Everywhere we went there were other giant cruise ships i.e. no places that only Azamara goes. And, despite some of the ports being known for great dining and late-night experiences, there were no overnight stays. Also, the excursion options are limited, so that's another disappointment for a cruise line that highlights the in-port experience. Since on-board entertainment and activities are limited, this seems like the kind of cruise that caters to the retired set. We were hoping to get an intimate exposure to the Greek Isles, but most of the ports seem to be very touristy and commercial. Our best experiences were the third-party excursions we booked.

Unfortunately, there were too many tender ports. The tenders took time and reduced the time we could spend in port and on excursions. The daily cruise update sheets were very helpful but not well written. I do not mean to be too critical, but the information about the ports, what was on shore, the information on transportation (taxi's, trains, bus locations), the distance and time between places, etc., was often confusing and sometimes wrong. We were a group of six and everyone agreed, they were not written well. It would be an easy fix. Simply have someone review for accuracy, clarity, grammer, and spelling. Also, the $25 fee for what was basically a second tender in the one port was unexpected. Seemed like RC should have gotten us where we needed to go on their tenders. Overall, the food was of poor quality and not very good. All that said, the staff was great and we had a fun time. Hope this review helps.

This trip was a big bucket item. Visiting the Holy land was a top priority, and it was awesome. Would like to return & spend some more time. It all goes very quickly. Each stop was amazing, and we enjoyed every port. There was 6 of us and we created alot of family memories.

Cruise was booked before covid. Could not get a refund from Norwegian. Cost twice as much when we did go. Did not receive any of the promises for later travel.

With the exception of the spa staff, in my opinion, everyone on this ship is trying to give you a really great experience despite some of the mechanical issues and tired appearances of some of the areas (cabin drawers, closets, uncomfortable beds, etc.). Ravenna should NOT be a port for cruise ships, but at minimum should not be considered Venice unless Royal Carribean plans to include transfers from Venice to Ravenna. Overall, we had a great time but I wish I would've known many of the things I pointed out in this review.

We loved your adult section and spent most of our afternoons there. Very relaxing. Great Specialty restaurants.

Got to see a number of interesting/historic places quite comfortably and conveniently

Loved every minute of the cruise, specifically Shows and food in Windjammer & Minstrel. Want to say thank you to my waiters GERAMAR & LUIS. Loved Brilliance of the Seas Orchestra, and girls (Sensation Duo, Arina & Veronika).

We throughly enjoyed our ship the Dawn. The staff is so warm and friendly. Excellent service everywhere. Can say enough about the itinerary and ports of call.

We chose this cruise for the ports which were great but the food left alot to be desired, also they definitely do not cater more to younger or couples.

The excursion desk needs to be open longer hours. There was constantly a long line waiting to speak to someone. They were a little disorganized.

For 12 of the 14 people on our cruise it was great. Sadly for the others air delays caused them to miss 3 days and British Air, and NCL were not very helpful making things right for them. One of them was elderly and in a wheelchair and no one of the above companies was willing to accept blame for their troubles and make things right by offering their full concern and help regarding their plight. It is easy to be good when everything goes right. The mark of an exceptional company is how well they react when things go wrong for their guests. In the case of two people in our group the aforementioned three companies failed miserably.

Cruise itself was fantastic. Working with and the air department NCL Was a nightmare! We called the emergency travel and the insurance and got no help! I was with a handicapped person and they left us stranded!! I ended up diverting from their plan, making our own arrangements. Hope we get reimbursed. This is a terrible idea to book your air through and new NCL!!

Great cruise, with phenominal destinations. Food was very good, especially the two specialty restaurants we went to, Cagneys and Le Bistro. Staff was on top of everything, service was incredible. Entertainment was very good in particular, shows at Pour House, District Ale house and the main show, Choir of Man

We had a fun time with all the cruise had to offer including dining, shows and dancing. Glad we signed up for excursions that helped us make the best of each port.

Been on 15 cruises and this cruise ranks in our top 3. Beautiful, luxurious ship with excellent restaurant options. The included tours were exceptional. (Really appreciated that only 15-20 participants on the tour bus and we were recommended mask wearing.)

Overall a great cruise. I booked the cruise through for the extra miles. The agent that sold me the package was initially very attentive and answered questions. Towards the end she was not respondent and knew that I was not happy with her service so she refused to respond to emails. Our next cruise has been booked through HAL directly.

can't go wrong with Viking Ocean Cruise and the excursions are top notch

Great weather, not to crowded on board, good ports and tours. Very busy.

Overall, a great experience! Will definitely travel with Holland America again!
