Great itinerary, tired ship and staff by AngloTexan

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Dream

Love the Key West / The Bahamas / Half Moon Cay route. Freeport - you have to get an excursion as it docks at a commercial port and nothing is walkable. Beautiful Bahamian beaches and people! Key West is walkable right off the ship. HMC is gorgeous but long wait to reboard ship as it's a tender boat. Nassau port has vastly improved - town is walkable from the ship too.

Great Cruise by fireplumber

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Icon of the Seas

I would highly recommend icon of the sea. The food was amazing and service was great. We were worried that it would be too big but that was not the case. Never had to wait on line or wake up early to reserve chairs as we have on our past cruises. The entertainment was world class.

ICON OF THE SEAS IS WORTH EVERY PENNY by Cruiser79460630

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Icon of the Seas

I am a Diamond Plus status with Royal Caribbean and this was the best ship and cruise ever. The ship is magnificent and don't be intimidated by her size. It took one full day to learn my way around. The staff is so accommodating and whether in the dining room, the Windjammer buffet, the spa or one of the stores or bars or lounges or guest services. the staff is so efficent. There is plenty of equipment in the gym to workout. In the ports and in embarkation and disembarkation, I sailed right through. This ship gets five stars all the way with a multitude of activities for adults and children.

nice but could have been better by keller4940

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Apex

This is the first cruise where we were unhappy with meals in the Luminae. While the service was outstanding, the food left much to be desired. Lamb chops were inedible; short ribs were mostly large pieces of fat. breakfast and lunch menus didn't change and wasn't a great selection. had a fabulous lunch in the Cosmopolitan - should have eaten more meals there.

Overall we really enjoyed this cruise. The Celebrity Apex was beautiful, clean, and had terrific staff members. Good food, drinks, entertainment and onboard activities. Our ports of call were wonderful to experience. I’d definitely recommend this cruise!

We cruised with our family (11 people - 5 rooms in Concierge Class). The Apex is a beautiful ship, we just had the wrong rooms.

Well organized, good shows, great itinerary, excellent cruise director! by josephcforbes

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Vista

This is my 5th Carnival cruise with my family including 2 kids under 10. This is the first time they were old enough to really appreciate the cruise and they had a blast! The included food was great, no need to spend extra on the specialty restaurants. Pizza and frozen yogurt were available almost 24hrs/day, which was great for the kids if they did not like the buffet food for any particular day. The 4 ports of call were terrific. We would not mind doing another cruise with the same ports and try different excursions. The onboard shows and the cruise director were awesome!

Beyond my expectations! by oncue3087

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

Enjoyed ourselves so much, that we have begun looking for a cruise for next year. The Carnival panoramic sets sail Feb 9 out of Los Angeles (Long Beach) to Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas, Magellan is what we are looking for.

This was a family cruise with our kids and grandkids. We had a great time but wish the time we had in each port would have been longer.

Wonderful 9 night cruise on Explorer of the Seas. Spent 5 nights in Key Largo prior to cruise. Excellent itinerary that included some ports we had never visited. Staff and ship were great.

Over all very enjoyable. Ship was a bit more average than some we've been on, but we had no problems, other than the smoke.
