This cruise was great and relaxing. It was our first time cruising and we really liked the convenience of getting to different islands/ports without having to pack/travel/unpack. In the future I'd book a cruise with more port stops as we got a little bored on the sea days. The food was pretty good, lots of sodium, but that's really the best you can hope for with buffets.

A pleasant cruise . Food and dining good . excursions not memorable. Recommendation that people check other websites before booking excursions . Ask HAL.to have a representative check excursions before listing as booking options 

Getting on the ship in Singapore was a huge mess.  Hours and hours of waiting and the ship ended up leaving about 3 hours late. 

All ports that required us to tender were a mess also.   The cruise director was actually Boo'ed off the stage one night as guests were so upset.   In short, it appeared they had not actually run tenders before. 

The food in the dining room was on par with what I have had in my 10 + other cruises.     Food options and quality outside of the dining room were a huge let down.   The windjammer food was horrible.   It was a rare occurrence when you actually found food that was hot, compared to luke warm or cold.

The ONLY other non paid food options outside of the windjammer was a small sandwich shop on the 5th floor that handed out small sandwiches horrible pizza slices that reminded me what we got in school lunches 35 years ago. 

This is a Cunard review not a ship review Cunard continue to be pathetic Cunard, I can’t begin to express my frustration with this company. Having failed to resolve their web portal problems for weeks. They had an opportunity to excel in customer service over the Covid19 outbreak. Instead they continue with own goals. Firstly they have issued zero communications via personal emails. You only way customers know what going on it to search for info on the web. Then when they allow you to cancel (and this took several calls, despite they had deleted several ports of call) they hang on to your money for a standard twelve days!! The result of this is many people, me included, cannot book anything else until the money is returned. Their excuse is they are busy. What a surprise!!!! Ps don’t bother trying to call them, their call centre queue is measured in 10 of minutes wait time!! Pathetic, they don’t deserve your hard earned cash. Please share far and wide to warn people. Cunard need to up their Customer Service game.

Found music & entertainment aimed at older people , line dancing , bingo , type of music (violins , ukulele ) ( not much popular current music ) The DJ called us boring because we didn't get up to line dance !! We prefer rockier/current music , even though we are 50.

My 2nd time on this beautiful,happy ship and I would go on it again-love it and cannot fault it in any way shape or form highly reccommend it-My 1st experience was in a mini suite and this time in an inside cabin and it was as good except for the balcony and extra room but you are not in the cabin alot so unless it's for a special occasion I would do an inside cabin again. Loved the experince even though it was only 3 days from Melbourne to Sydney and my 1st one was Melbourne to Tassy and back for 6 days-go on this ship you will have no regrets and this is my 6th cruise and it is still my favourite one!!!

hmmm rm steward was rude and pushy he insisteded he clean rm on last day while we where trying to shower and get ready for breakfast . He wasnt happy we bought a drink over night. He said it would come out of his wages. that was not a good experiance.

Best short cruise available. Feels like a weeks holiday

Throughly enjoyed this short cruise. We have traveled on this ship 5 times before and still enjoyed everything about her. Great cruise line.

Really enjoyed it. Except Sea Princess do not offer a drinks package or coffee card. We only found out once on board so it did make a significant difference to our spending $$ on the ship No towel animals on beds

Our cruise was delayed for disembarkment which delayed us from being able to do anything for the first day. Weather was pretty bad to no fault of their own so I did get a little sick. Some staff were amazing but some also weren’t that great, casino made up their own rules and some of the dealers were a bit rude with no personality. Some restaurants were good with food but took ages to be served to us. Overall it was a good cruise but We expected better.

While the ship itself was absolutely incredible, the same cannot be said about the staff, food, entertainment or onboard activities. It was very disappointing.

My first cruise and it was great. Staff were extra friendly and helpful.

I highly enjoyed my cruise on the Golden Princess to New Zealand. It was nice to be able to cruise from Adelaide. Staff and entertainment were amazing on-board with high quality musicians and service. The Golden Princess is looking a little tired as Princess doesn't appear willing to do anything other than short term maintenance before the ship's hand-over to P&O Australia in October 2020. It was only a short cruise however you can have a weekend in Brisbane before you board at lunchtime Sunday. It honestly feels like a weeks holiday and yet it is only a 2 night cruise.

i absolutely loved the cruise the only thing i found was if im paying for a alcoholic cocktail id like to taste the alcohol i found in some places on the ship i was getting charged for one but tasted like lollie water i even told them but it never changed so i stopped buying them not wasting my money

Fantastic ports (Kangaroo Island was best) but I was too ill to do any on-shore activities.

We had a great time as always with Princess Cruises. The ship looks and feels tired in places, but this didn’t detract from our enjoyment. The staff as always onboard were polite, helpful, and fun. The cruise tours were generally good, a bit of a hiccup with the Darwin trip, but we were given a rebate for this. Food was generally good and varied. Highlights for us was Cairns and Broome, plus some of the onboard speakers were very funny, and knowledgeable

Daily activities were boring. Not really much to do compared to other Princess cruises. Food in buffet wasn't as good. Veggies were under cooked. Seems menu never changed. Alot of lamb dishes. (Friends loved that!) Hamburger grill has great set up to make burgers but burgers sit under heat lamp and dry out so wait for fresh ones!

Excellent criuse.. Excellent crew.. Great food....
