Port was well maintained and easy to navigate

Great little town

The Crowne Plaza Hotel is the perfect hotel to stay if you are traveling from out of town to the cruise port.

I was shuffled to THREE different parking lots over the course of an hour. Once I arrived to the THIRD lot, there was no shuttle so we had to walk 30 minutes to stand in line for THREE more hours to board the ship. Once we gave our luggage, there was another line and the porters who took our luggage told us literally to fend for ourselves with the customers who had been waiting in that line (to mix in with them) or else go stand in the back and wait which would've taken at least another hour to get back to the place we were at. From there there were two more lines to board the ship. It was CHAOS! I have never experienced anything like it.

Not the nicest boarding experience. Mixed reviews on staff. Some friendly some not so much. It’s run like the old cruise port that it is and can use some updating but they get the job done.

They changed our port last minute and we left from the outer pier - nothing was around there to do and we had to sit and wait in a tent.

Incredibly unorganized. Check in times should have been enforced so that a proper embarkation and debarkation times could be met.

I loved going to LA ahead of time.
