TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: On or about October 28, 2017, Amy Laura Askin called your customer care department to inquire about several accommodations that needed to be taken care of in regards to our cruise. They stated that they would provide several essential accommodations such as providing KOSHER food and several other accommodations. The first incident that caused us to be infuriated by Carnival was on November 5, 2017 when we arrived on the ship to dinner they stated that they could not provide the KOSHER food because it would take 2 hours to prepare the food. I was furious at the comment and demanded to speak to the matrided and the chef. They said that they would have it for lunch. The second incident was the next day of November 6, 2017, we went to the food area to get lunch. We then asked them if they had our KOSHER lunches ready. They had no idea what we were talking about. The staff made us wait from 1130 AM to 230 PM to deal with getting KOSHER food. I was starving since I did not really eat the night before. We then finally get our meals at 230 PM and we eat it. It is around 3 PM that we then go downstairs to go on to Catalina Island on the stop and find out that the ship leaves at 4PM. They make us wait and we get off on the island at 315PM. We tried to go to the botanical island and enjoy the location but it was not possible because we just went back on to the ship since we were afraid to be left on the island. The third incident was at dinner again when they did not have the food ready for us and they made us so upset that we just left and went back to our cabin. The fourth incident was on November 7, 2017 when they knew that they had to have the KOSHER lunches ready for us by 1:30PM since we had booked a excursion to Encinada. They again made us wait about 1 and a half hours to even understand that we needed to have KOSHER lunches. The chef and the manager had to come out to figure this situation out. Not only was this embarrassing but was an absolute disgrace to my vacation causing me to stress about being able to eat and running late to the excursion bus. The fifth incident was on November 7, 2017, when we got on to the excursion bus the woman by the name of Jacky was leading the tour. When we got off the bus she told us that we were to come back to the bus at 430PM. We went shopping and saw the baby leopard and lions and Jacky. Not once did she ever tell us that she wanted to leave early. We were at the shops that she told us we should go to and when we finished at about 415 PM we went to the area which the bus dropped us off. When we got there there was a shop owner and no buss or anyone that came on the tour bus. We asked the lady if they knew Jacky and they said yea Jacky is gone she left with the bus. We then panicked since we were in a poor area of Mexico and there were strangers all around us. We begged tons of people to get us a taxi or something and they all said there is no taxi or buses. We then had to give someone $100 to drive us to the cruise ship. We were in a panic because we were not sure if this person giving us a ride was going to harm us or not. after about 30 minutes in the car he tell us there is the ship and to cross the street. We paid him $100 dollars and went on to the cruise ship. Amy and I were so shocked that any excursion of any kind would leave stranded American persons in a foreign country with no idea where to go. This got me so infuriated at the cruise line for having such a disgusting service that costed us more than it was worth to have a heart attack. We then get to the ship and go to dinner and yet again the KOSHER food is not ready. The chef and all the staff kept apologizing but that saying sorry 5 times and continuing to perform such disguising and idiotic acts show a lack of care or consideration to people of the Jewish religion. We then regretted going on this trip because it caused a lot of issues since I have not gone on a vacation in about 2 years and Amy has had some traumatic personal experiences which she needed to get away and relax. This trip was nothing be a disaster. The sixth and final incident was when we went to dinner on the final night and we wanted to have the nice bottle of wine Amy's parents gave her for the trip. The staff had no idea about it and said that all of the bottle of wine were confiscated and thrown away at long beach. This made us extremely mad and showed how horrible your staffs communications between each other were. We believe that one of your members stole it.

Excellent

This was the sailing port so no excursions to be had. It was super easy to get on and off the ship. The bus to get to the airport after was worth its weight in gold.
