Long Beach (Los Angeles), California Port Reviews

No excursion here. Just got on the ship

I lived in the LA area for 6 years, so I never feel the need to do specific excursions here. Still, it's a great city with a lot to see and do (and eat).

Did not explore, bad traffic into port but nice sail away.

Great embarkation process

I am glad someone else did the driving. With as many ships as go in and out, the ground people seem to fumble through allot.

The weather was not the best during out cruise. It was cold and rainy.

The traffic on the way to the port was ridiculous. We were stuck because a couple of trucks decided to use the lane that goes straight to the port and they can’t get to their correct lane. Some of the truck drivers wouldn’t let them through. So we’re sitting in our car waiting for those two trucks to get into their lane so we could go down the road to the port. We could see the dome from our car but we were at a standstill because two trucks were blocking our lane.

Have always loved Long Beach

A mess getting to the Port because of activities in the area. This is my second time sailing from this Port and both times it was disappointing. Disorganization every time boarding
