Walked down to Mile Marker 0 and The Southernmost Point marker past many historic houses. Enjoyable free day. Even got on a couple geocache. We were amused by the free range chickens.

For first timers you really have to see the historical aspects of the island. I’ve been before this cruise but my wife hasn’t so I had to do everything over again. Next visit we will do some sort of water activity for sure!

I booked the Conch Train excursion through Royal Caribbean for only $20 when they had a sale. At just over 90 minutes, I thought it was a great way to see all the sights and learn a little about the history of Key West, with a funny and informative tour driver.

Key West was a great place to walk around and explore. The hop on hop off trolley was great for exploring. They had wonderful shops and Sloppy Joes was a great stop.

Looks typical but not your average island. Key West is good for sightseeing. I went to this island with my sister which was my first cruise. There we just rented a bike and explored the island ourselves. Stopped to eat/drink. Everything is walking distance so you can walk the strip and their's local restaurants/bars, several souvenir shops etc along the way. I wouldn't recommend the beach because of the dirty water. But it's good if you wanna go to just relax there. Highly recommended.

Duval street is the place to see. A strip of bars and shopping. Dante's is a cool place. An open bar with s pool that lets you swim as long as you eat there. Find a beach to hang
