Easy on and off. Not much of a view.

No excursions, but we did stay overnight at the Harbor House at Pier 21 hotel on Friday night before embarkation on Saturday. The hotel tax in Texas is high, around 13%, we paid like $42 tax on a room that cost $321. We had dinner in one of the seafood places next door, Katie's Seafood House. As it was a Friday night the place was very busy. The food was good, the drinks were good, the atmosphere was perfect for the start of vacation! Good place to eat that is convenient to the hotel. Hotel and cruise terminal are north of the main drag on Galveston.

Cruised out of Galveston pre-covid, not as pretty as I remembered. We enjoyed the Pleasure Pier though. Also got to drink and watch others fish on another pier.
