Beautiful city with lots of history! We didn't get to do much here but loved what we saw. Rainforest Cafe is a great place to eat! Will definitely come back!

Love sailing out of Galveston, port is easy to get to an not complicated to board your ship. Light house parking is great for leaving your vehicle Been sailing for 8 yrs an it’s my favorite port an island to leave from

Before or after your cruise, do yourself a favor and check out King's confectionary across from the ship terminal. One of my favorite childhood memories!

Port was okay, but a mad house after disembark. Carnival didn't have knowledgeable staff. I was suppose to get on carnivals bus to take me to the airport. Two people sent me in the wrong direction. When I finally did find the line I realized why I couldn't find it. The lady who was supposed to be holding a red flag was surrounded by passengers . You couldn't see her. Carnival needs to make it easier for you to find your bus

Easy easy easy embarkation!! Debarkation was a mess but that was Carnival Freedom's fault not the port's. We parked just across the street at VIP indoor parking. It's a little pricey but they were so nice and it was so easy and close!!

I'm a Native Texas girl and I will always be faithful to Galveston! The Pleasure Pier and Moody Gardens is fun. The best seafood is Fisherman's Warf right next to the cruise terminal or Gaido's on the seawall.

Was looking into hotels for my cruise in June 2019 and I am frustrated because EVERY hotel in Galveston and surrounding areas are sold out for the weekend of my cruise. 😳 Has this ever happened to anyone else?
