Car break-ins are pretty common in Galveston. I wouldn't leave my car at any of the hotels. Secured parking only for us.

Depending on how far you're traveling, a car rental may do the trick. Look for the closest car rental to the port of Galveston and drop off.

We were rear ended @ EZ in a new car. The car parked behind was gone when we got there. They tried to tell me my luggage scathed the bumper. Not.

I don’t think many hotels in Galveston offer free cruise parking or shuttle. Maybe an expensive resort. I would get a good hotel deal in Texas City and then park at the port or “Galveston Park N Cruise.”
