I’ve been in quite a few cruises solo and go on excursions. I typically make friends with others in the same excursion (same ship) and enjoy myself! Try at least one. You’ll notice that everyone is very friendly. I still keep in contact with people I’ve met on cruises/excursions.

on my last cruise, my travel partner got sick, so I did an excursion by myself in Cozumel. I went on the Everybody Loves Ray's (and Sharks), which was fantastic. The others on the tour were friendly, and I never felt alone.My friend was fine - some 24 hour virus or something.

I cruise solo 75% of the time. Book excursions through the cruise line with no problem.

I do 50- 75% solo. So excursions through cruise line. Always good.
