Approaching the port by car is ridiculously slow, otherwise, it's easy to board, no long walks, etc.

Hard to find reasonable parking prior to the cruise. If you must bring a vehicle there are garages available outside the port.

Need a place for the passengers to go to when getting off the boat and leaving customs to wait for their taxi.the people at customs kept on trying to kick people out into the street.
