Tampa, Florida Port Reviews

We really like Tampa. We plan on going a day earlier next cruise. I recommend staying at one of the hotels in the riverwalk. lots to do within walking distance of the riverwalk. Good restaurants too. The cruise port is really nice, well organized, great staff.

We arrived a day before the cruise and were glad we did as it made it a more relaxed boarding.

One of the most smoothest stress free ports to leave out of. Parking garage is directly across the street from the port. Once your vehicle is parked and your luggage checked in your on the ship in no time. Carnival Cruise

Make sure you take the trolly to Ybor and eat at Beninies Italion restaurant. We actually ate there 2 nights.

As a local (Clearwater/Largo) I have been to this area many times. It was my first time embarking out of this port however. We took an Uber because parking is almost $20/day. The port is conveniently close to both TPA and PIE, with Uber fares being very reasonable. Pick up and drop off are both right at the front. The terminal is smaller so getting around and on time is easy. We booked a suite so we got priority boarding which was smooth. 👌🏼

We boarded Saturday the 12th, never having sailed from this Port before. It was extremely easy and everyone was very helpful. We were onboard and ready to party by 11:30!! We disembarked on the 19th and it was very smooth and orderly. Got in line at 12:25 and we were in our car at 8:04! Was very impressed and will sail from this port again!

Tampa is amazing. If I ever move back to a large city, Tampa is it! So much to do and see. Sailed from here several times and it's always the easiest to get on and off the cruise ship. If you can do an additional day before or after your cruise, DO IT! Florida Aquarium, minor league baseball and major league spring training, pro football, hockey, Ybor City and all the cultural events anyone could care to explore. Great restaurants.

Great Beaches... Great City... Great Port... Great People... Great place to visit and a better place to live... So much to do here... Close to everything...
